Lamont House is a small, family-run bed and breakfast at 12 St. Mary's Walk, Harrogate, HG2 0LW. We take your privacy seriously and only collect the information we need to respond to your enquiry or manage your stay.
When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, preferred dates, and any message you include. We do not collect payment details through this website.
We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry and, if a booking follows, to manage your stay. We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Enquiries submitted through our website are processed in transit by Formspree (formspree.io), a form-handling service, before being delivered to our inbox. If your enquiry does not result in a booking, we will delete your details within 12 months. If you stay with us, we keep basic records (name and dates) for up to three years for accounting purposes, after which they are deleted.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. To exercise any of these rights, please call us on 01423 567143 or write to us at the address above. We will respond within 30 days.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, such as pages viewed, scrolling and successful availability enquiries. We do not send your enquiry form details, email address, telephone number or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics. Analytics cookies are not set unless you choose “Accept analytics” in the website notice.
Bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before your scheduled arrival date. Cancellations received within 7 days of arrival may be subject to a charge equivalent to the first night's stay. To cancel or amend a booking, please contact us by telephone on 01423 567143 or by email as soon as possible.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
